Summary: Performs quality review of scanned documents; processes death certificates; coordinates microfiche projects; ensures accurate and timely completion of Release of Information requests; serves as the department payroll coordinator; processes imported documents; Performs research for enterprise Doctor Master and referring physician database; performs all the duties of a Medical Records Associate I.

Salary range for this position is $39,215 - $48,294 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

1. Associates degree in an Health Information Management program and the equivalent of six (6) months of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
2. Successful completion of an accredited medical office assistant education program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of eighteen (18) months of full-time clinical or administrative health care experience; or
4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time Roswell Park clinical/administrative health care experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
