Keys to Success in this Role:

Update patient demographics  Schedule follow-up appointments  Prepare referrals and authorizations for Managed Care patients  Assist providers and patients at the conclusion of the visit  Perform incidental duties as needed 

Physical and Mental Demands:

Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods  Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making  High level verbal and written communication skills  Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously  Previous customer service experience required  Experience in a medical setting is preferred 

Occupational Exposure:

Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Strong customer service orientation Excellent telephone etiquette Strong team player Basic computer proficiency Strong multi-tasking skills Previous Customer Service experience
