Overview The Medical Operations Supervisor oversees the daily activities of our remote medical team. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations supporting occupational health services, coordinating the remote medical schedule, and managing logistics across occupational health clinics. Fairweather’s medical department consists of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, paramedics, EMT II/III and registered nurses. WORK LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska with frequent travel SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm REPORTS TO: Fairweather Medical Services Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Team Leadership: Provide leadership support to ensure contract service delivery, support billing and payroll approval process, resolve issues that may arise, and facilitate communication with staff. Clinic Operations: Manage and coordinate a complex and demanding schedule for remote medical staff, optimizing resources and staffing to meet service demands. Travel & On-Call Availability: Travel to the North Slope as required and maintain availability for nights and weekends to address operational issues and support team needs. Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance clinic operations and optimize workflows. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required. Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing people, logistics, and operations, with a preference for expertise in medical clinic operations is preferred. Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel to remote locations. Ability to work nights and weekends as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Generally sedentary requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than forty pounds.
