Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Laboratory Scientist

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

This is a combined posting for a Medical Laboratory Scientist and Medical Laboratory Technician. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The position is responsible for professional Medical Laboratory Scientist bench duties within the laboratory, for the assigned section(s). The position performs routine and complex tests or analyses in any of these potential sections (as assigned):  Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Toxicology, Microbiology, Molecular, Mycology, Immunohematology, LIS and Lean. 

The position is responsible for technical Medical Laboratory Technician bench duties within the laboratory, for the assigned section(s). The position performs routine and complex tests in any of these potential sections (as assigned): Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Molecular, and Immunohematology. 

Medical Laboratory Scientist 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree - in Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited college/university that included clinical rotation.    Or Bachelor's Degree- in a chemical, physical, or biological science AND completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program.    Or Bachelor's Degree - with completion of 60 semester/90 quarter hours from an accredited college/university that includes a minimum of 6 semester/9 quarter hours of chemistry, 6 semester/9 quarter hours of biology, and 12 semester/18 quarter hours of other chemistry, biology, and/or medical laboratory science courses AND at least three months full time clinical experience in all laboratory areas.     National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire or,  National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists upon hire.  National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologists upon hire.  1 year    In a clinical laboratory performing moderate and high complexity testing.

Min: $33.63 , Max: $52.22

Medical Laboratory Technician

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree - in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire or,  National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists upon hire or,  National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire.  1 year  - as a MLT in a clinical laboratory performing moderate and high complexity testing.

Medical Laboratory Technician Salary Range:

Western, WA. (Olympia, WA)

Min: $28.41 , Max: $43.47
