Reporting into the Orthopaedics Director, Medical Education Europe, the Medical Education Manager will create meaningful programs for practising surgeons, nurses, residents, fellows or other related Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in UK, Ireland and Nordics (UKINOR) region.
The Med Ed Manager will work closely with the Marketing and Sales organisation to implement educational pathways and adapt global content to the UKINOR region to make sure we are offering educational experiences that are tailored to our customers.
What will you be doing?
Partnering with HCP faculty and internal teams to implement high-quality programs at the S+N educational events. Establishing program learning objectives and attendee profile and communicating these to the business in order to lead to adoption of our orthopaedic products.Using new technologies (Virtual Reality, Simulation, S+N Academy Online) to create blended learning journeys. Adapting the content developed by Global teams to the needs of the UKINOR market.Working in partnership with Professional Affairs to select and maintain the relationships with faculties. Responsible for faculty communication, invitation and development.You'll be a strategic leader and adept at translating the key commercial priorities of the orthopaedic business to medical education needs. You'll plan our med ed calendar and resources as well as identifying and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders on current trends and needs in the industry.What will you need to be successful?
Degree qualified, ideally in business, marketing, education, science or a related area.Working understanding of training medical professionals in a medical device or health care industry.Alternatively, you may be a clinician with orthopaedic experience that is interested in a training role in industry.Orthopaedic exposure is strongly preferred, ideally S+N products.Travel - up to 40%.
