Medical Education Associate - Hybrid

The Medical Education Associate on Stryker’s Trauma Professional Education Team plays a critical role in the planning and execution of trade shows and medical education events for the company’s trauma products. This entry-level position focuses on event logistics such as hotel and travel coordination, vendor communications, branding support, and budget tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in both the marketing and medical education sides of the healthcare industry, with clear potential for growth into more senior events, or marketing roles.

This role is Hybrid in Mahwah, NJ.

What you will do:

Assist in the planning and logistics for regional trade shows, congresses, and industry events and medical education events.Support the shipping, setup, and takedown of exhibit booths, coordinating directly with vendors and onsite teams.Help manage lead capture activities and ensure post-event follow-up processes are executed.Maintain and organize event materials, shipping schedules, and branding assets.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure booths, displays, and branding materials meet corporate standards.Coordinate hotel sourcing, rooming lists, venue arrangements, and travel for physician training programs and internal events.Manage logistics such as transportation, meals, signage, name badges, and branded event materials.Support faculty and attendee communications related to logistics and travel itineraries.Track event costs and support invoice processing to maintain budget accuracy.Serve as a key team member to support event execution from planning to post-event evaluation.Assist in compiling event performance reports and feedback for continuous improvement.Engage in ongoing learning about orthopedic products, healthcare marketing, and event industry best practices.Ensure all logistical planning is compliant with AdvaMed Code of Ethics and healthcare regulations.

What you will need:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree required0–2 years work experience

Preferred:

Internship or project experience supporting event logistics, marketing events, or trade shows.

PHYSICAL/SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: 

May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate. May be required to move equipment up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull, to accomplish job accountabilities. Ability to travel up to 30–40%, including some nights and weekends.

$58,700- $106,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
