Position Summary Provides the CAT Scan team with nursing-related services within scope of practice required to for patient care. Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Assists technologists with direct patient care duties. Provides vital signs, weights and heights, and status of medications and allergies. 2. Obtain patient medical history. Obtain labs and I-Stat from patient. 3.Reports abnormalities or instability of patient’s condition. 4. Transport patients to and from the ED. 5. Screen incoming calls. Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: None Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: None Preferred: Certification as a Medical Assistant License, Registry or Certification: Required: None Preferred: To become certified as a Medical Assistant Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Proficient in vital signs, basic computer skills
