Medical Assistant - Full Time/Gastroenterology/Tampa, FL

This opening is for a full-time Medical Assistant/Endo Coordinator for our Gastroenterology office. Travel required between Tampa and Watergrass location. Bi-lingual preferred, 1 year MA/Procedure Coordinator experience required. Candidate must be highly organized, have good communication, understand medical terminology, and work well others. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

Love of patients and providing excellent care Confidential handling of patient’s accounts and records Entering data into Electronic Health Records Preparing patients for examination and/or procedures Adherence to company policies HIPAA and OSHA Compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of Medical Assistant program Medical Assistant certification is a plus High school graduate or GED certificate Minimum of 1 years MA experience Excellent communication skills including verbal/written, in person and on the phone
