Position Summary:

Performs venipuncture, obtains urine samples, performs EKG's, and performs clerical duties.

 

·         Performs venipuncture and capillary draws with minimal pain

·         Performs EKG's

·         Performs clerical duties, i.e. charges, ordering, filing

·         Obtains urine samples from patients

·         Assists patient flow, directions, reassembles room

·         Helps with vital signs as assigned and direct patient care

·         Performs spirocare and TENS unit instruction

Required:

Graduate of accredited school of Medical Assistant, or 1 year of Medical Assistant experience. High school diploma or equivalent Previous clerical experience BLS certification within 3 months of hire

 

Preferred:
