Job Description
The Medical Assistant will assist the provider throughout the clinic with various duties including patient registration/intake, lab draws/phlebotomy, patient callbacks, provider support for task completion, charge entry support, vital signs measurement, EMR system usage, and POC lab testing/outsourced to reference labs. The role also includes performing BP, TPR, and weight measurements on each patient and alerting the physician of any abnormalities, as well as maintaining medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in the clerical area.
