Medical Assistant Salary Rate: $17-$20Location: Conroe, TXShift: Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Employment Type: Long-Term Temporary We are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant who will perform direct care and support in clinical services.  Under the clinical guidance/oversight of the clinic providers, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing clinical, lab tasks, and patient eligibility. What you will be doing:Assists with patient appointments by performing phlebotomy (including capillary and venous draws), urine collection, catheter, lead testing, vital signs, & gathering patient histories. Provides in-room support for all clinical staff during the clinic visits as needed, including assisting the provider during procedures.Assists in performing data entry and electronic data processing by using the electronic medical record system (ModMed), Microsoft Excel, and any other related programs/sites.Prepares and sets up patient waiting/reception area before clinic sessions.Support clinic front office as needed in answering phone, patient collections, and checking patients as needed.  What is Required:High School Diploma/GED RequiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant programCertified Medical Assistant in state of TexasCPR certificationTwo (2) years as a Medical Assistant and/or experience in a medical office, hospital, or laboratory  Benefits and Perks:Work Schedule: Tue – Thur, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends to offer a good work/life balance.During employment with Team1Medical Staffing, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical         (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.
