**Responsibilities**
**Work Schedule:**
Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:30am and 4:30pm
No Weekends, No Holidays
No Call, No Call-Back
**Job Specific Position Duties:** The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
**CORE Duties:**
• Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.
• Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.
• Check patient's vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter reading.
• Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form.
• Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered.
• Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms.
• Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies.
• Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
*** Education:** Graduate from an accredited or military Medical Assistant program
***** **Experience:** Minimum 1 year experience, within the past 2 years
*** License:** None
*** Board Certification:** None
*** Life Support Certifications:** BLS
*** Security:** Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.
Pay Scale: _$17.53/hr to $28/hr,_ _to be determined based on employment options, qualifications, experience, and location_
