The Job utilizes a combination of skills including:
Taking patient vital signs Update patient medical records including medications, allergies, and other information Utilize a variety of clinical skills including injection administration, assisting in-office medical procedures, specimen collection, and point of care lab testing.This is a combination posting for an Associate Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant. Associate Medical Assistant
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).Preferred Qualifications:
6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, SE Washington: Min: $17.88, Max: $27.31
Medical Assistant
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam. Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months - Healthcare experience. 6 months - Medical Assistant experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam Upon hire: National Medical Assistant CertificationMedical Assistant Salary Range, SE Washington: Min: $19.38, Max: $29.61
