Medicaid Enrollment Specialist

We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own.   Required: When you upload your resume, please upload it in PDF format Ability to speak eloquently about past accomplishments 2+ Years of experience with Medicaid Enrollment (Texas Medicaid) is required (Candidates with no medicaid experience will be considered for this role) Must have extensive knowledge of TMHP enrollment requirements and have a history of previously application submissions with an approval rate of over 80% 1-3 years of credentialing experience preferred 2 + years of experience in an administrative role required (preferably Behavioral Health or Healthcare) preferred but not required Proficient at using Excel and Word (Google Suite Products preferred)   Responsibilities: Carries out the provider enrollment function as delegated by federally funded payor plans Obtain and store contracts, contact information, provider information, and fee schedules in an orderly fashion Processing and tracking of applications to ensure timely enrollment Timely resolution on payor/medicaid information requests Facilitate payer calls to address contracting or credentialing issues Maintaining the provider enrollment database. Updating the database with new providers, and with changes in provider information. Able to act independently to review and assess provider applications for completion, identify credentialing concerns and request appropriate follow up information from providers or other sources as needed Prioritizes and completes all work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks or other duties as needed   Expectations: Operate with a high level of accuracy and proficiency Be organized and well-planned Be incredibly detail oriented Communicate effectively and regularly with Credentialing Manager Be approachable and receptive to feedback Work hard to meet deadlines and goals Be a problem solver and a process improver   Benefits Competitive Salary PTO and 14 days of paid holidays Health, dental and vision insurance covered at up to 90% by employer A fun, relaxed work environment with a great team Job training
