Job Description As a Media Supervisor, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive media strategies, manage a team of media planners, and serve as a key client contact. This role requires a deep understanding of media planning and buying, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful media campaigns, the ability to drive innovative media solutions, and the willingness to participate in new business pitches for internal growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: Media Strategy Development: + Lead the development of integrated media strategies that align with client objectives and leverage the most effective media channels. + Collaborate with senior leadership, account teams, and clients to ensure media strategies are aligned with overall marketing and business goals. + Identify and pursue innovative media opportunities and emerging trends to enhance campaign effectiveness. Research and Analysis: + Conduct and oversee market research to comprehend insights on behavior, media consumption patterns, and competitive landscape to develop slides and present. + Analyze audience data and media metrics to inform strategic planning and optimize campaign performance. + Evaluate media proposals and vendor offerings to determine the best fit for client needs and budget. Leadership and Team Management: + Supervise and mentor a team of Media Planners and Associate Media Planners, providing guidance, support, and professional development. + Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement. + Oversee the workflow and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of media plans and executions. Client Relationship Management: + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. + Understand client needs and provide strategic recommendations that support their business objectives. + Present media strategies, plans, and new ideas to clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Campaign Execution and Optimization: + Problem solve any issues or reoccurring paint points in the execution of campaigns, including campaign launching times, material deliveries, internal team collaboration, etc. + Address any issues with Analytics manager in KPIs and develop an optimization plan as needed to maximize impact. + Collaborate with Analytics manager to analyze campaign performance data and generate comprehensive reports with actionable insights. + Ensure reporting cadence is understood by internal department, account teams, and clients Budget Management: + Manage and oversee media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI. + Track and reconcile media expenditures in system SAP, recording payout dates on record sheet + Ensure all media rates are negotiated and streamline contracts with vendors to secure the best value for clients. + Approve media billing summaries monthly. + With direction from Media Director, track billable hours and flag any discrepancies. Partnership Development: + Participate in and collaborate with Media Director for new business opportunities. + Develop and present media strategies and proposals to potential clients identified by Media Director. + Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, societies, and digital platforms. + Stay informed about industry trends, new media opportunities, and best practices to continuously enhance media strategies and share out with appropriate stakeholders. + Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of media strategies with overall marketing plans. Compliance and Regulation: + Ensure all media plans and executions comply with pharmaceutical advertising regulations and industry standards. + Stay informed about changes in regulatory guidelines and best practices within the pharmaceutical advertising space Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required. + 4-6 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a proven track record of successful campaign execution. + Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with media planning tools and software. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights. + Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in media planning and buying. + Knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising regulations and industry standards + Knowledge of industry vendors and tools such as Kantar, DC Promo/Moat, SRDS, IQVIA Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​ + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
