Job DescriptionReporting to the VP of Media Strategy you will contribute your expertise as a Media Strategy Director in our Amsterdam office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an integrated strategist who is as comfortable in a creative review as they are in planning global paid media campaigns. The Strategy Director will be chiefly responsible for delivering strategic planning and new ideas for some of our most important paid media clients, and will be a strategic voice for Jellyfish Netherlands delivering progressive leadership both internally and externally.

Develop insightful paid media and digital communication strategies which demonstrate an understanding of critical brand/challenges, apply the latest marketing theory and inspire media plans which positively influence the brands we work alongsideDeliver value to clients by understanding where digital fits into our client's broader marketing and sales activity and the nature of relevant digital journeys/funnels, be experienced in establishing communication and engagement with prospects clear for both client and agency teamsIdentify opportunities for research and data to be used to inform strategic decisions.Work with the market intelligence team to design, commission and analyse qualitative and quantitative researchUse brand health tracking, ad/campaign tracking, social listening and segmentation studies to inform strategy development.You'll be the glue for our clients' communications
Work alongside media planning and practitioner teams to provide broad direction on which paid and earned media channels are likely to best support reaching desired brand outcomesInspire new ideas and fresh direction, whether in strategy, media, content or creative - keeping a constant eye on category, audience, trends and new news in digital marketingRecommend appropriate brand or campaign performance measurement based on an understanding of Measurements and available toolsEnsure that briefs are inspiring, based on consumer and category insights, include a clear and single-minded measurement approach, and are following strategic objectivesQualificationsYou'll help establish communication and engagement with prospects; engage with senior clients to discuss strategy and business or brand goals - good at simplifying complex challengesDemonstrate expertise in developing brand, digital marketing,and planning strategies, with a fluency in digital media planningClient-centric - You'll love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business.Analytics & Reporting - You'll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.Creative Problem Solving - You generate unique ideas and experiment with new methods and technologies to solve complex issues.Team Collaboration - You'll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.Adaptability - You're good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances.You'll have 3 or more years of experience within Media StrategyAt Jellyfish, we are committed to fostering professional growth.Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
