Media Sales Manager (Sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa)

In order to be considered the following is required:
Proven track record in broadcast and digital advertising sales, with a strong understanding of the media landscape Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients Strong negotiation and persuasion skills Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools A deep understanding of linear and digital advertising metrics and analytics Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field Experience selling both linear and digital media advertising solutions Knowledge of programmatic advertising and ad tech platforms Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Management:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the advertising market Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and marketing goals Negotiate and close advertising deals within target revenue margins Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle Maximize revenue share across all platforms Developing market information, research and analytics to differentiate’ s media sales offering Media Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with the media planning team to develop effective advertising strategies that align with client objectives Negotiate advertising rates and placements with media partners (linear and digital) Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to clients Sales Presentations and Proposals:
Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the value proposition of our media platforms Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, effectively communicating the benefits of our advertising solutions Market Research and Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising technologies Conduct market research to identify potential client segments and opportunities Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales team, media planning team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns Share best practices and knowledge within the team to drive continuous improvement If you would like to email your CV directly – please send it to [email protected]
