Role Overview Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects. Actively participate in the use of on-the-job safety tools. Review job packs and identify any safety issues before beginning work. Execute work as planned and record technical history as required. Provide feedback on job pack improvements to supervisors. Request permits and notify supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps. Team player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with others. Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs. Education & Experience Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance work. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
