As a contractor for one of our major clients, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in mechanical engineering, troubleshooting, and testing. Join us in Riverton, Wyoming and be a part of our dynamic and innovative team.
Role Overview
Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, and machines. Prepare proposals and cost estimates for maintenance work. Actively participate in the use of on-the-job safety tools. Review job packs and identify any safety issues before starting work. Execute work as planned and record technical history as required. Provide feedback on job pack improvements to the execution team. Request permits and notify supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time.Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices. Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and testing. Familiarity with engines, instruments, controls, robots, and machines. Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with team members. Team player with a willingness to assist others. Adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience. Relevant certifications or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.Pay & Benefits
