\nOverall Purpose\n

This position assists the customer as the primary liaison between the customer's assembly processes and the customer's reactive suppiler quality department from the two internal departments. \nMay Report to\n

Site Superviser\/Site Leads\nResponsibilities\nClient relationship & Business development\n\nAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.\n\nOperations\n\nClosely examine and listen to equipment to locate damage, defects and wear; and diagnose any abnormalities to maintain functionality.\nRespond to the customer's assembly line quality problems.\nReassemble machines and tractor equipment post-repairs, tests and make adjustments as required for continuous safe performance.).\nDocument and report assembly line and non-operational product quality issues.\nKeep detailed records of client details and calculate costs for repairs based on labor, parts used, and repairs made. \nCoordinate containment \/ rework as needed on parts & assemblies originating from the supplier facility in the US or in the one in Mexico.\nParticipate in meetings and conversation determining methods of reworking material.\nEngine and axle repair.\nDiagnose issues with vehicles \/ engines \/ axles.\nInventory of spare parts.\n5S support.\nInvestigate quality issues in collaboration with customer quality group to determine the scope of the issues and provide data for supplier.\nReport results of containment to applicable groups to assist with their business making decisions\/impact. \nAssist in investigation of root cause, gather and anyalze historicial data, and assist as needed in the corrective action process to heko drive a robust 8D process that will yeild no future issues.\nWork with production floor\/ assembly, engineering, supplier logistics, etc, to develope and carry out RCCA plan of action. (half shop floor\/ half office)\n\n

Organization & Management\n\nCustomer service and customer problem solving\nReview work orders and discuss with clients, co-workers, and supervision\nAdvise customer on work performed, general vehicle conditions, and future repair requirements\n\nTechnical \n\nMUST have demonstrated ability in reading and interpreting engineering, assembly drawings, blueprint readings, and mechanical knowledge of engines and axles.\nMUST have ability to diagnose non-conforming parts and ability to repair.\nMUST have strong experience in: Engine\/axles repair, vehicles\/engines\/axles diagnose, and root cause \/ repair.\nRoot Cause Corrective Analysis experience needed.\nComprehension level knowledge of industrial equipment assembly processes.\nComprehension level knowledge and understanding of inspection techniques and the use of the appropriate measuring tools, equipment, and gages.\nOperating level proficiency using computer software programs.\nDemonstrated ability in written and verbal communication.\nDemonstrated comfort level in interfacing with various levels of the customer's staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.\nPositive and adaptable to workflow changes.\n\nOther \n\nAny other duties as assigned\n\n
