The Mechanical Technician is responsible for completing production orders part of our manufacturing build plan for aseptic filling products. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Operations team located in Burnaby, BC and will be an onsite role. What you’ll do: + Produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies to work instructions and engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment + Perform product testing and machine configuration + Follow and contribute to processes within a best-in-class manufacturing environment Who you are: + You have advanced mechanical hands-on skills and over 5 years of experience building and testing systems. + You can work in a complex environment, identify the correct processes, and be comfortable working from written work instructions or engineering documentation. + You are confident to put your hand up when you need help or to stop work when things aren't right + You enjoy contributing and learning as part of a team    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Working in the medical, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment + Have experience in lean manufacturing. The salary range for this role is CAD 57,000 to CAD 72,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
