This position reports to

LVS 3101 LPG Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:•Performing all the activities related to assigned orders including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and mechanical drawings.•Following all license documents related to the product and being sure of following ABB processes related to this activity. •Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.•Provides technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. •Prepares project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. •Actively participates project meetings and resolves any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations. •Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.). •Coordinates with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the technical solutions are appropriately manufactured/ staged and tested. •Identifies and implements variation requests to support contract claims based on the approval from Project Manager. •Must be in direct interaction with key clients as input for product marketing, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products and leaving positive impression about ABB. •You might be subjected to perform techno-commercial studies for selected offers.

Qualifications for the role

The minimum academic requirement is bachelor’s degree Mechanical Production or mechatronics (5 years degree).1-3 years of experience in switch gears or sheet metal works, SolidWorks with advanced level including Sheet Metal, Sheet Metal design and manufacturing Techniques, Metal work and Metal Forming Process, familiar with Engineering Material. Good knowledge about ISO 9001 requirements coupled with good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is a must. Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
