What You'll Do Coordinate the activities of internal and external personnel involved to ensure smooth and efficient workflow Develop strategic capital spending plans and major capital projects/equipment upgrades Improvement projects from design through installation and start-up. Interact with technical engineers and non-technical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems Responsible for the preparation and execution to the project budget, scheduling and approving expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action when necessary, problem solving, root cause analysis, and failure mode Works well with team members or independently: gives an receives feedback in a constructive manner Displays a positive, can-do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations Makes timely and sound decisions; uses resources wisely What You'll Need Experience planning outage work schedules and supervising contractors to accomplish installation goals Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs Knowledge and experience utilizing today's design and project management tools including AutoCAD and Microsoft project Minimum 3 years of project/engineering management experience, preferred in heavy industry Shows a safety-first mindset; recommends improvements to make the workplace safer for self and others Your Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience required.
