Position Overview: The Moore's Electrical and Mechanical VDC/OSC department offers comprehensive MEP fabrication and prefabrication services for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects across Virginia and North Carolina. As a Pipe Fabricator, you play a crucial role in the prefabrication process, specializing in the manufacturing and assembly of pipes for commercial and industrial applications. You will ensure that materials-such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, etc.-meet both design specifications and rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities: + Read and interpret basic drawings and spool sheets. + Perform welds adhering to written welding procedures and qualifications. + Construct piping spools and branch connections while upholding quality control standards to meet applicable codes. + Measuring, Cutting, Grinding, welding, and maintaining tools and equipment. + Maintains a safe work environment by following Moore's "0 for Today" safety standards and protocols + Taking ownership of work area and tools utilizing lean methods and upholding shop standards. + Collaborating effectively as part of a team while maintaining strong self-motivation .
