Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join their mining company based in North-West. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the mining industry.

Responsibilities:

Oversee mechanical maintenance. Prioritize and direct Artisans based on emergencies. Respond to mechanical breakdowns. Manage the Engineering workshop and stores. Control and order required stock and materials. Design basic mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Diagnose and repair equipment faults. Identify root causes of breakdowns.

Requirements:

Grade 12 A Relevant Mechanical Trade Test Certificate. 3-5 years’ experience as an Artisan working in an Underground Mining environment (Platinum experience would be advantageous) Experience working as a Mechanical Foreman Valid Driver’s License
