Your Role:

Perform mechanical engineering design for a variety of project types including higher education, commercial, hospitality, and government projects. Work under the supervision of an Engineer of Record (EOR) on a variety of engineering projects. Conduct site visits, evaluate mechanical systems, and provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project specifications. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams. Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Participate in client meetings and assist in business development efforts. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Additional duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is beneficial but not required. Strong understanding of HVAC systems. Knowledge of California building codes and regulations. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, Trane Trace, and IES. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be local to the Los Angeles area with the ability to travel to the office weekly.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $127,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
