Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$89,300 - $105,000

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for all technical aspects of tooling and equipment-based projects in their assigned area and will actively collaborate with all key stakeholders; operations, process engineering, project management, controls and fabrication to complete engineering projects.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to engineering projects, identifying problems, developing solutions, creating and assigning tasks, developing budgets and schedules Be the technical expert on all related equipment and data in the assigned area Provide technical and analytical support to the various internal teams and customers Promote an environment of engineering rigor, discipline, informed decision making and enthusiastic problem solving Create specifications for testing, mechanical analysis, cost/benefit analysis, drafting etc. as needed  Assist Production in troubleshooting problems and producing work instructions as needed

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 4-8 years’ experience working in a mechanical engineering functionExtrusion and/or injection molding experience is highly desiredAbility to read and create engineering drawings and schematics such as equipment and part drawings and models, P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, etc.Solidworks modelling of complex mechanical systems is requiredKnowledge of machine design and mechanical, hydraulic, thermal, pneumatic systems, etc.Project management experience is a plus.
