Mechanical Engineer II
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer IIJob Description In this role, the individual will design multiple product lines in the water products group. They will create BOMs and generate estimates for sales teams. They will provide quotes for the design and redesign of existing drawings, and work closely with manufacturing and an electrical engineer. Responsibilities + Design multiple product lines in the water products group. + Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and generate estimates for sales teams. + Provide quotes for the design and redesign of existing drawings. + Collaborate with manufacturing and electrical engineers. Essential Skills + Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer. + Minimum 3 years of experience with SolidWorks. + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). + Proficiency in SolidWorks. + Experience in creating BOMs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working in a team environment. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. Work Environment The team consists of 9 people and this opening is in their Water Products group. The position will interact with production and electrical engineers. The company has multiple locations in New Berlin, Indiana, and China. It is a privately held company with a great culture and environment.
