Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for new product development and design. This includes taking products from concept to completion, creating designs in SolidWorks, sourcing vendors and components, and interfacing with sales, production, and management.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design new products from concept to completion.Create detailed designs using SolidWorks.Source vendors and components for product development.Interface with sales, production, and management teams.Ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities and requirements.Essential SkillsMechanical design experience (1-5 years).Experience in a manufacturing environment (1-5 years), specifically in sheet metal, machinery/equipment manufacturing, or similar.Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software, with the ability to quickly adapt to SolidWorks.B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.Experience in product development from concept to completion.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with product development processes.Knowledge in sheet metal design, refrigeration, and HVAC.Experience in research, sourcing vendors, materials, and production.Work Environment
The work environment is a smaller company with substantial opportunities for growth and development. Employees have the chance to own their projects and design new products from the ground up. The role requires being in the office from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
