Responsibilities: + Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. + Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of facility operations. + Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify and address any issues or potential improvements. + Coordinate and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations. + Collaborate with other departments to ensure facility needs are met and to support overall organizational goals. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. + Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors. + Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations and projects. Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. + Proven experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role. + Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools. + Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards. Preferred Qualifications: + Professional Engineer (PE) license. + Experience with energy management and sustainability practices. + Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS).
