Kimley-Horn is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.Ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunitiesMentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projectsManage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidanceThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications 4+ years of related experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controlsProven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gasExperience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projectsAble to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidanceExperience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilityAbility to work individually or in a multi-discipline team Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
