ENVIRONMENT: THE technical expertise of a Mechanical Engineer is sought to fill a 6-Month Contract role by a company dedicated to understanding, supporting, and empowering small business owners and entrepreneurs in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and allied industries. You will be managing a project and oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with proven work experience in Project Management within a Mechanical Engineering context & proficiency in relevant Engineering software/tools including CAD and SOLIDWORKS.   DUTIES: Manage all phases of the project, from planning to completion. Ensure compliance with Engineering standards and project requirements. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines. Prepare and present progress reports.   REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).   Experience/Skills – Proven experience in Project Management within a Mechanical Engineering context. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in relevant Engineering software/tools (e.g., CAD, SOLIDWORKS). Languages: Fluency in English and Afrikaans (Mandatory).   Highly Desirable – Professional Registration: PrEng Certification.   ATTRIBUTES: Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
