Our client, a leading player in the mining manufacturing and fabrication industry, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Draughtsman/Nesting/Internal Sales Person to join their dynamic team.

Main job function

Be able to read single part technical drawings as well as general assembly drawings. Able to break down general assembly drawings into various components for quoting for manufacturing purposes Identify component that require value added services. Good knowledge of the material. Be able to assist customers with technical queries and information. Have a technical background. Be able to use measuring equipment.

Key Requirements: 

– Proficiency in SigmaNest software

– Experience in fabrication, engineering, draughting, and customer liaison

– Dynamic, innovative, and results-driven approach

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Grade 12 and relevant Technical Qualification. At least 3-5 years’ experience in drawing and design. 2 Years internal sales experience Trade background and understanding, must have experience with fabrication, engineering, design, and customer liaison. Be able to work with AutoCAD/ SigmaNest/Omax. Be able to work with all functions of SigmaNest. Fully bilingual in AFRIKAANS and ENGLISH.

 

Salary

R20 000 Basic Salary per month
