Our services range from power distribution, design, and generation to facilities, visualization, and much more. **Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:** POWER Engineers, Member of WSP - is seeking a mechanical engineering student for a summer internship in our Mount Laurel office. Under the guidance of multiple experienced engineers, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of power generation and renewable energy design. The successful candidate will learn how to perform engineering assignments by applying appropriate engineering principles, practices, and theories. In addition to working under the guidance of experienced team members, the selected intern will also participate in sessions designed to develop your skills and provide networking opportunities. Those sessions include: + Professional Development sessions focused on resume writing, interview tips, building a LinkedIn profile, and more. + Early Talent Speaker Series where leaders speak to interns about their role, vision for the company, and career path, offer career advice, and a Q&A session. + Fun Friday activities where interns company-wide join to network and have some fun while doing it. **Required Education/Experience** + Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited university + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship **Desired Education/Experience** + Minimum of a 3.0 GPA + Candidate is interested in the consulting engineering industry. + Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills will be critical for the successful completion of tasks. + Prior internship and/or related engineering experience is a plus. + Familiarity with design, drafting or engineering software such as AUTOCAD, etc. as well as Microsoft Excel is beneficial.
