Description Job Title: Mechanical Drafter Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modeling, a deep understanding of mechanics, and proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software. This role requires someone who is humble, open to feedback, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Modeling: Create detailed 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks. • Drafting Drawings: Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly. • Dimensioning: Apply precise dimensions to drawings to ensure proper fit and function of components. • Assembly: Utilize SolidWorks tools to simulate and verify the assembly process of mechanical parts. Qualifications: • Education and Experience: • associate degree OR BACHELORS degree in related field: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Without a degree: 3-4 years of relevant experience. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software. • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and mechanisms. • Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Soft Skills: • Good at accepting criticism and open to feedback. • Humble and willing to learn. • Ability to work quickly and efficiently. Nice to Have: • Standards Knowledge: Understanding of ASME 14.1 standards. • Drawing Techniques: Knowledge of best practices in drafting and drawing techniques.
