\n\nThis position is primarily responsible for designing layouts of natural gas compression, drying, and refueling systems. This includes designing to meeting the customer requirements, applying engineering principles to design calculations, following industry standards, and developing clear documentation for downstream partners including operations, testing, and installation and service. Additionally, the position will be focused on continuous improvement of processes and products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n\nServe as the Project Designer with design and bill of material responsibilities.\nResponsible for design accuracy and thoroughness.\nResponsible for meeting project schedule requirements.\nProvide technical direction Operations personnel.\nFollow all engineering procedures.\nProvide design and process continuous improvement ideas.\nDesign to all applicable codes and specs.\n\n\n\nHave an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 3+ years related experience in design, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nHave the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or other team members. \nHave the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as needed to the design of compressor systems. \nHave the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in verbal, written, mathematical, or diagram form and formulate plans using multiple variables.\nThis individual should have knowledge of 3D CAD software, AutoCAD Design software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order Processing systems; Microsoft Office Suite; and Spreadsheet software.
