Job Description
A growing and leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Designer for upcoming commercial, industrial, and educational projects in California. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in these types of projects and will be able to grow into a leadership role at a company that highly values its employees and the relationships they build.
ResponsibilitiesInteract with clients and other disciplinesUtilize Revit for design projectsDesign HVAC and plumbing systemsWork on MEP engineering projectsDesign controls and hydronics systemsEssential Skills1-2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer in HVAC and/or plumbing designProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP designExperience with plumbing/fire protection designStrong engineering and design skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsE.I.T LicenseExperience with Blue Beam (plus)Work Environment
You will start out working 3+ days in the office with 2+ remote days. Over time, there will be more opportunities for remote work. Flexibility is offered, especially for those living deeper in California, though fully remote work is not ideal. The company has a family-oriented culture, provides a lot of internal events, development courses, stock plan opportunities, and maintains a deadline-driven but relaxed work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $45.67
