Siemens Industry is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hours.
You’ll make an impact by:Support engineering work via modeling of designs (3D NX CAD and 2D AutoCAD Electrical)Team improvement projects focused on process documentation and work instructions.Create documentation of legacy products and projectsDesign new parts for prototypes with support of senior members and update existing parts to improve designs.Support prototype builds with support of senior members and JT files.Create/organize electrical and mechanical device libraries.Provide production and lab support on product assembly.Who Should Apply:

Applicants must be local and able to work on-site at the office in Wendell, NCWorking Hours: Spring Internships are Part-time up to 29 hours per week. Work times starting from 8-9am and ending they day 4-6pm with flex start and end times.Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:
