 Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Mechanical Assembler, we have an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on expertise to assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using specialized tools in a dynamic industrial environment. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you’ll play a key part in creating high-quality products while working under moderate supervision. ** This is a 1st shift position, working Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (4x10 schedule).

What You Will Be Doing 

Assemble and/or perform preset calibration and final testing for products, ranging from small to large units, subassemblies, and complete systems.Perform assembly and testing tasks focusing on low to moderately complex tasks.Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and work instructions.Identify inconsistencies or faults in parts, equipment, or processes to prevent defective products from leaving the facility.Perform troubleshooting, with addressing basic issuesWork with tolerances and fits.Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment as per work instructions.Contribute to quality and process improvements.Collaborate with engineering.Complete required documentation, including Quality Assurance and Test Records.Follow work instructions to become certified for tasks being performed.Pick and stock parts from stock rooms and place completed parts (in some locations, Stock Handlers perform this function).

What We Are Looking For 

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Level 1: No related work experience required; mechanical aptitude is necessary.Ability to see details clearly (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, colors, symbols, marks, labels, signs) to accomplish tasks safely and efficiently, with strong hand-eye coordination.Ability to perform simple arithmetic computations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.Ability to process multiple types of information and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while following work orders efficiently.Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting or moving objects.Work performed in environments with moderate risk or discomfort, requiring special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear.May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
