**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Assembler for Medium Voltage systems, specializing in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. This role involves wiring power systems and assembling electrical components. Candidates must be able to read schematics and engineering drawings and utilize various hand and power tools. This is a non-climate controlled environment, and standing for the entire shift is required, including standing on ladders for assemblies up to 8 feet high.
**Shift and Pay**
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 2:30 pm
16.50 - 17/hr
**Responsibilities**
+ Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems.
+ Wire power systems and assemble electrical components.
+ Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, or process sheets.
+ Use hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.
+ Stand for the entire shift and work on ladders for assemblies up to 8 feet in height.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations. The production floor is not climate-controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans keep the air moving. Employees will work around forklifts and manufacturing machinery and are required to wear safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs if necessary. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays. Working on Saturdays is mandatory.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
