Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The role involves functional testing of mechanical components for compatibility and fitment, drawing and design validation, functionality and safety of application, data collection, and report documentation. While an Engineering/Mechanical degree is preferred, it is not required if the candidate has relevant experience.
ResponsibilitiesPerform functional testing of mechanical components for compatibility and fitment.Validate drawings and designs.Ensure functionality and safety of applications.Collect data and document reports.Set up and test new components for tracker systems with various engagements.Assemble components using hand tools and power tools.Provide thoughtful and technically savvy labor.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical assembly or a related engineering degree (mechanical or structural).Ability to read blueprints.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.General labor and construction experience.Knowledge of solar panel installation.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred but not required: Engineering/Mechanical degree.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
