Departmental Overview Engineering Services is a team of 32 healers. We respond to all Building Maintenance, Plant Operations, Grounds, Construction and Safety calls for all locations. Job Summary Operates, monitors, and maintains all major Hospital mechanical equipment including Steam Boilers, Chillers, Emergency Electrical Generators and Medical Gas Systems. Monitors the systems that provide Natural Gas, Electricity and Water and other utilities to the Facility. Insures that utilities are provided to both the main facility and all of the satellite facilities. Responsible for the installation, modification, replacement, repair and preventive maintenance of all HVAC equipment. Performs general maintenance in all facilities as required. Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent. Prefer Vocational training in HVAC.Must possess a Mechanical Journeyman's License. Journeyman's License must be Unlimited Air Conditioning and Unlimited Heating or Limited Air Conditioning and Limited Heating with Process Piping, Natural Gas Piping, Sheet Metal from the Oklahoma Department of Health AND a Class 1 Boiler Operator License from the Oklahoma Department of Labor with 5 years of Plant Operations Experience. Ok State allows an Inactive Contractor license to be accepted in place of an active Journeyman License. Must have or able to acquire within on year a Medical Gas 6040 certified for Medical Gas Maintenance.Applicant's must have a secondary license in an other trades such Electrician, or Plumbing or an ASSE 6010 Medical Gas Installers Certification. Current Oklahoma drivers license and proof of a good driving record from the Oklahoma Department of Motor Vehicle.)
