We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team in Hemel Hempstead – this is an exciting opportunity to be part of and grow within a successful team in a long term role.

Role Responsibilities:

Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
 Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
 Uses hand tools and power to assemble units according to product specifications Identifies unit that fail tests or tolerance levels, repairs a necessary
 Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
 Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations, diagnoses, and correction of problems.
 Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
 Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.
 May be required to complete an apprenticeship or training.

Basic Requirements:

Minimum of two years previous Mechanical & Assembly work is essential – ideally from the Aerospace industry

Flexible with high attention to detail
