Volt is immediately hiring multiple Turbine Engine Mechanic for immediate hire with a top manufacturer in Mabank, Texas.

\r\n\r\n

As a Turbine Engine Mechanic, the work may entail:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWorking with a team to tear down industrial equipment and parts received from customer or other Company locations for cleaning and refurbishment\r\n\tMechanical assembly and installations\r\n\tBuild up control system consoles which include PLC's, input/output modules, power supplies, terminal strips, and other electrical devices.\r\n\r\n\r\n

You will train on 1st shift for about 6 months and move to 2nd shift; 3pm - 11:30pm with lots of overtime available during week and weekends. Positions are long term temp, with strong potential to go temp to hire.

\r\n\r\n

Minimum Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school diploma or GED\r\n\tAbility to follow all safety practices and procedures\r\n\tMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen\r\n\r\n\r\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCourses in electronics, hydraulics, mechanics, and shop procedures.\r\n\tPrior experience in the assembly and maintenance of electronics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and shop procedures.\r\n\tExperience with the safe use of tools such as wrenches, drills, bandsaws etc.\r\n\tIdeal past experience: people who worked as a Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic / Technician , Outside Machinist , Aviation , Military Mechanic roles , Maintenance Technicians , or anyone who had a role where they \"turned wrenches \"\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $16-20/hr
