Job Description

Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 5,000 users.

Job Summary:

Join Brookfield Technology Services as the MDM Architect and System Lead and lead the charge in achieving seamless data integration on MDM solutions and core business applications, elevating data management practices, and driving organizational success through accurate and reliable data insights. Together, we will maintain a competitive edge in the industry and deliver top-notch MDM solutions, empowering data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

You will be responsible for overseeing the integration of Master Data Management systems like Reltio, within our organization. Build technical and solution architecture to support data integration needs of MDM and business critical applications. Expertise in building Enterprise Data Catalog and understands data management principles.  Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead the implementation of data integration processes, data mapping, and modeling, ensuring data governance policies are adhered to, and resolving integration issues to maintain high data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities:

Assess the current state architecture & understand current business processes for managing and implementing Master Data Management solutions across all business groups.

Develop and execute a robust integration strategy for MDM systems like Reltio and S&P EDM, aligning it with the organization's data management objectives and business requirements.

Plan and coordinate the integration of MDM systems with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and databases, considering data synchronization, transformation, and cleansing requirements.

Extensive hands-on experience in installation and configuration of core Reltio Integration MDM Hub components such as Hub console, Hub Store, Hub Server, Cleanse/Match Server and Cleanse Adaptor.

Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define data models and mapping rules, enabling seamless data exchange between MDM systems and various applications.

Prepare the to-be architecture including data ingestion, data quality rules, data model, building match/merge rules or survivorship rules, batch integration and real-time services.

Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity during the integration process.

Oversee the design and implementation of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes for data movement and transformation.

Conduct thorough testing of MDM system integrations to validate data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.

Provide subject matter expertise on data architecture and data integration implementations across various downstream systems.

Identify and resolve integration issues, data conflicts, and discrepancies, collaborating with technical teams to ensure timely resolution.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data flows, mappings, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.

Create Design Document and data models addressing business needs for the client MDM environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data governance, IT, application owners, and business stakeholders, to align integration efforts with organizational goals.

Monitor the performance of integrated MDM systems and take proactive measures to optimize system efficiency and data processing speed.

Support the communication and education of functional master data standards, definitions, processes, policies, and tools to functional data owners.

Review/analyze incoming master data requests to determine desired outcome and proper course of action to take

Stay current on tools and techniques; evaluate industry trends and tools to understand opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.

6 – 7 years of hands-on experience in MDM systems integration, data integration, data governance systems, with a proven track record of successful project implementations involving Reltio and Alation or Collibra.

Proficiency in data integration technologies, ETL/ELT processes, data mapping tools, and MDM platforms like Reltio, Informatica MDM, or similar.

Experience of working with Reltio L3 configuration, Reltio console and custom jars creation and experience with custom jars creation

Experience with messaging software, AWS Hadoop, Apache Spark

Excellent debugging and trouble-shooting skills, and persistence in problem solving.

General understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools

Familiarity with data governance principles, data quality management, and data stewardship practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and convey complex concepts in a clear manner.

Good project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate integration projects effectively.

Salary Range: $185K - $195K

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designation
