SPA's Operations Research and Cyber Analysis (ORCA) team is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer. SPA employs its simulation system products in support of operations, experimentation, and the acquisition analysis process. You will apply Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools to identify and analyze trends in big data to solve real-world problems. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team; training will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will participate in project teams to:
Assist in the analysis of the performance of DoD programs and systemsConduct data collection and specification reviewsAssist in the design and development system-of-systems models using commercial and proprietary MBSE tools and execute modeling and simulation analysisPerform post-processing data analysis and interpretationAssist in the preparation of deliverables to include presentations and written reports of findings and recommendationsParticipate in customer meetings and briefingsPlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary pay range: $175,000-$200,000
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, physical science, operations research, data science, or a related fieldAt least 15 years’ professional experience in data analysis using modeling and simulation (M&S) tools via academia, industry, government, or military service.Top Secret clearance and favorable adjudication of an interim security clearance is requiredDesired Qualifications
