Manage day-to-day operations in the department’s enterprise legal platform’s e-billing function.Oversee the legal invoice processing from law firms and other legal vendors.Work closely with external billing partners, the organization’s accounting department, in-house members, and Help desk to solve any billing or other related issues.Manage applicable timekeeper rates and fee arrangements from external vendors to ensure accurate reporting.Prepare various legal spend reports and analysis requested by internal stakeholders.Respond to inquiries from external vendors regarding the status of their invoices.Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding expense allocations and any vendor invoice discrepancies.Respond to inquiries from in-house members regarding project specific billing matters and status. Assist with running the department’s law firm competitive tender exercise to get competitive markets rates and discounts by benchmarking and analyzing the timekeeper rates.Assist with inquiries from Tokyo headquarter – provide quarterly invoices and various reports as requested.Skills:
Must have 2+ years of professional experience.Must have strong attention to detail, respond quickly with inquiries in the group mailbox, have job ownership mentality to solve problems.Must be highly organized, with ability to parallel-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Must be a team player with the ability to work effectively and independently.Must have excellent analytical skills and comfort with multiple data sets, with the ability to draw conclusions and make informed recommendations.Must have advanced Excel skills (i.e., Formulas, Pivot Charts, Pivot Tables, Formatting, etc.) Knowledge of Onit, Tableau, Ariba is a plus.Demonstrate integrity to manage sensitive and confidential information.E-billing experience from law firms or other organizations is preferred.Forward-thinker on emerging technology in the legal spaceThe typical base pay range for this role is between $72K - $100K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
