**Materials Supervisor** **Responsibilities** + Comply with the terms of Local and National Labor agreements. + Implement divisional and corporate policies. + Implement safety and good housekeeping standards. + Maintain frequent contact with others outside the work group. + Train, develop, and evaluate employees. + Keep management informed of developments as they occur. + Maintain corporate management control systems (Audit Reports and Information, Grievance Systems, etc). + Maintain department records. + Effectively use personnel, material, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives. + Support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost goals. + Be willing to work any assigned shift, including daily, weekend, and holiday overtime as required. + Support/implement the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes. **Essential Skills** + Demonstrated ability in the areas listed. + Completion of pre-supervisory assessment program required for proper job preparation. + Leadership interest and abilities required for effective supervision of employees. + Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. + Knowledge of basic math. + Oral and written communication skills. + Understanding of basic technology in the assigned area. + High level of analytical ability for complex problem-solving. + High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output. + Experience working in a represented environment. + Knowledge of and ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Experience in production supervision, production management, and automotive manufacturing. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
