Materials Scheduler
The Position

NOTE: Position is Onsite Only. No remote work.

A key contributor in the Production scheduling team driving the Material Schedules for multiple Fill Finish and Finish Goods departments and the departments that support these operations.  

This role works cross-functionally within the site and also provides key contributions to the master data of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools used by HTO and Roche.  Working both with a team and independently, this individual solves challenges related to end-to-end scheduling.  

The Opportunity:

Collaborate with suppliers and customers to address system improvement or upgrade topics in areas of end-to-end scheduling, Warehousing and Distribution.

Perform input to management in order to optimize resources and capacity and meet objectives for manufacturing efficiency, inventory levels, and customer service.

Responsible for managing the site materials schedule supporting that accounts for production and non-production demand (ie. Maintenance, Validation, Engineering).

Responsible for the creation and continuous update of the HTO Production Schedule to satisfy Global Supply Chain demand and site priorities.

Maintain and report production planning assumptions, as well as performance to master production schedule.

Leverage relationships with Commercial Value Streams, PLANT, ES&T and Quality to manage Lead Time and meet production plan requirements.

Implement and improve business processes as they relate to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Master Scheduling.

Collaborate with Finance to incorporate costing as a primary element into optimizing the production planning process.

Represent Site on strategic planning initiatives and Operations Planning related-meetings/ forums.

Translate business requirements to technical specifications and collaborations with key stakeholders to complete requests.

Provide training on usage, enhancements and changes to business systems.


Who You Are:

B.A. or B.S. degree with 5 to 7 years work experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or related industry, or a Master's Degree with 0-2 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Ability to exercise sound judgment, reasoning, and problem-solving.

Fundamental working knowledge of supply chain management, safety, quality systems and quality assurance concepts are required including the application of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Strong analytical skills and understanding of systems and technical designs.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a broad range of skills

Experience with SAP, ERP or MES

Demonstrated Project Management skills

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oregon is $77,800-$144,400.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
