Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Monitor MRP (Forecasts, Stock on hand, customer demand, production schedule, inventory transactions and reject material). Plan, Forecast, Schedule and Release supplied material demands to meet our production and service parts requirements. Input manual requirements into SAP to ensure material availability.Complete the monthly score card for all suppliers. Follow-up and expedite any overdue materials or service parts. Monitors QPF to ensure logistics incidents are closed in a timely manner.Perform other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Associate degree or certified 2 year training program for the material scheduling profession.   Five years of experience as a material planner using an MRP system to plan (preferably SAP) is acceptable in lieu of formal education (Must have atleast a high school diploma/GED)Ability to write correspondence and speak effectively before members of the management team, customers, and employees

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Electronic Communication Means (telephone, fax, video conferencing, web conferencing, etc.). Communication across cultural and physical boundaries.Proficient in spoken and written word.
